*Sunday, November 9 shows are ALL AGES! All other shows are 21+. The All Ages shows are the same as our standard shows, but with family-friendly commentary suitable for younger audiences.

PARKING

Parking will be in the parking lot adjacent to our venue on E 6th St, closest to Studios 3 & 4. PLEASE FOLLOW THE MAP AND SIGNAGE ON SITE!

Please ensure that your parking ticket date and time matches the date and time listed on your Sumo + Sushi event ticket (Parking time slots are listed as one hour prior to your show start time)! You will not be granted access to parking if the wrong session was selected. Parking is non-refundable.

Pre-paid parking rate is $30 + fees per vehicle. We have limited parking available and if it is sold out online, you will not be able to purchase parking on site. Rideshare is strongly recommended if parking for your session is sold out. Rideshare pickup and dropoff is located on E 6th St.

The event duration is approx. 90 minutes with 2 brief intermissions.

Live Sumo

Sumo + Sushi is the ultimate “edu-tainment” experience. You don't have to fly to Japan to experience the excitement and fun of this 1,500 year old sport! Learn about the history, rules, and culture of Sumo followed by over 12 live exhibition matches and a Q+A with the wrestlers.

HOSTED BY KONISHIKI

The most genuine way to learn about Sumo is from a former Sumo wrestler who has lived and breathed the experience firsthand. We’re proud to partner with Konishiki who will host Sumo + Sushi! He is the first non-Japanese-born wrestler to reach ōzeki, the second highest rank in Sumo. Throughout his legendary career, he won the top division championship three times. After retirement, Konishiki honors his Hawaiian roots through live musical performances and has released many albums as a Hawaiian singer. He also consistently gives back to his community through the Konishiki Kids Foundation to help underprivileged children from Hawaii to experience Japanese culture.
